Too American, I am afraid. But it's getting global, you know. I still prefer to think I could use the famous (here) "jeitinho brasileiro" - kind of dealing with things with a soft and enchanting approach. (I am a bad translator, sorry).
True. There's always another way to handle things like that. I recently heard about an attempted robbery at a little bar in the Bywater neighborhood here. Apparently, a kid burst in at closing time, waving a gun wildly and demanding all the money from the cash register. The drag queen who managed the establishment walked right up to him and said, "Honey, that is not the way to rob a bar. You don't go waving a gun all over the place. You point it like you mean business. Now go back out and try it again." The kid walked out the door, but before he could reenter, the drag queen locked it and phoned the police. Personal authority seems to be the key.

Very nice composition. Superb detail.
Thank you, sir :-)
like the composition of this image and the color...well caught and executed my friend !
Thank you, Mr. C. I'm beginning to feel like the Emily Dickinson of the Vieux Carre.
This picture kind of tell us a story. So many attempts to keep it well locked, and it looks still so vulnerable, so fragile.
There's an old saying, you can't keep out someone determined to get in. That can be either a killer, a thief, or God.
To be honest, I don't know which one would leave me more scared... probably God! The other two I can try to manipulate, but He Himself...
Yes, you can always shoot the other two - or is that too American?

I loved the story!
Btw - I could sit and listen to your stories forever!
That Drag Queen won my heart, what a quick mind!
... And lucky to be alive!
Looks like this person is someone who has either a deal with Him or that other "Him"... hahahaha!
