Please accept my apologies for intruding on this blog with words instead of images. I try to keep my own verbiage out of the picture, so to speak, because I believe this place should be a place for images, and images alone.
Except in the case of the comments you might care to make.
And that is where the problem lies which I wish to address here at this time. I'm hearing that many of you are having difficulties with the inline commenting form I have been using. I apologize for that.
I am switching this evening to Blogger's old pop-up style to see if that makes any difference. If the problems continue, please feel free to drop me a line by email to let me know. Below each post is an icon for this purpose.
I have also stopped the word verification requirement. I seldom, if ever, get spammed, so that should not prove to be a problem. If it does, I'll tackle that then.
I take this problem seriously because the Comments section has proven to be a delightful place where visitors have met with me and with each other to trade their thoughts and ideas about the pictures I have made. I consider it my own front stoop, a New Orleans tradition, a place where we can socialize with one another and enjoy each other's company. As such, to me, it is far too valuable a place to lose.
Thank you for letting me know about the problem. Let's see if we can't fix this baby before he grows up to be a boor. Thank you.

Don't tempt me ...
Hi Glenn, thanks for taking the trouble to keep us in the loop. This is a very nice front stoop. Only thing to avoid would be comment moderation because the spontaneity is lost that way. I don't mind word verification, but whatever works out best for you. happy Easter to you and your admirers. sp

Thank you, dear. Don't worry about moderation. This is New Orleans, you know, darlin'.

PS: You'll be seeing further developments when you comment on newer posts.
Hi, Glenn, I have just arrived from a long day away from the internet and found out those news.
Well, I hope you can fix whatever may be causing problems with your commenting box.
Funny, I was just thinking - today - how I enjoyed to visit your place to see you and the interesting people who also pass by - either here or in Bigezbear!
@Cláudia
I hope I have it solved. After this post, I switched to an outside program called Disqus, which has all kinds of bells and whistles. It enables one to speak directly to other commentaters, and I think it can be a lot of fun. Give it a shot. It's available with my newest picture, "Tunneling".
