Oh, my! This is tremendous. It reminds me strongly of the wonderful "glamour" shots of the 1910s and 20s of the great figures of the art world. Steichen would be very interested to see this.
By the way, I looked up Charlotte Cushman -- a 19th century American stage actress? Sorry I miss the allusion. But it's not important to my appreciation of this fine portrait.
